TimeSeries Database Benchmark Comparison: GridDB & InfluxDB
Time-series data is exploding, and the database you pick to handle it determines what your IoT application can do. Fixstars benchmarked GridDB against InfluxDB using YCSB-TS on AWS, comparing insert, read, and scan performance across 100M and 400M record datasets. The results surprised even us: GridDB outperformed InfluxDB on throughput and latency by margins ranging from 4x to nearly 10x.
